Some structural changes have been made to the user folders. We advice you to either update each folder so the new settings can take effect, or delete all your all folders and create new ones.
Warning: if these steps are not followed, your folders may not work at all.

And a happy Mother's Day to all moms in Norway!

february 12th, 2010:

We've now added some nice kick-ass graphs to your Dashboard. Nifty, huh?

february 11th, 2010:

The file information slider has been removed (denoted by ), and replaced with a dialog box (denoted by ).

The dialog box also contains more links relevant to the file. You can now forward any file you'd like, as long as the file is flagged Public. You can also view file specific logs, by specifing the file ID to the URL as such:
http://fileshed.davidsteinsland.net/log/<fileID>.

You can also view logs on files there aren't yours. However, you will only be able to see yourself represented in the list. When you view logs on your own files, you will still be able to see when guests/other users downloaded your files.

The last thing that's changed, is the percent bar. It now calculates how much file space the selected folder uses. For example: if you have two folders, one with 8 MB of data and the other one with 2 MB, the percent bar would show "100 %" when you're in Root. When you select folder one, the percent bar will show "80 %" (as 80 % of 10 MB equals is 8 MB). The same applies for folder two, except the percent would show as "20 %".

Some updates have been made, including:

  • Guest can upload files on-the-fly without registration
  • Minor and major bug fixes
  • CSS updates

I will continue updating Fileshed, however, it would be like to get some feedback. Some bugs reports would be nice too!

Fileshed is a free-of-charge application made with CodeIgniter and by the power of David Steinsland.
